Die ArtTalks richten sich an Kunst- und Kulturinteressierte, die gerne Englisch reden und sich über anregende  visuelle Ideen freuen.
 
Durch den interaktiven Ablauf wird ihr flüssiges sprechen, aktiver Wortschatz und  ästhetischer Sinn gestärkt und erweitert. ArtTalks ist eine Thema-orientiert Reihe von Informellen Workshops, die Kunst und Sprache in einer innovativer und spielerischer Weise verbinden. 

Wir ArtTalkers haben in einer lockeren  Atmosphäre viel Spaß miteinander und treffen uns oft nachher zu einem post-ArtTalk drink, um weiter zu reden!

Die Dozentin, Karla Schlaepfer-Karst, hat einen B.A. in Kunstgeschichte und einen M.A. in Fachdidaktik –(Englisch als Fremdsprache). Sie ist in Kalifornien geboren und wohnt seit einiger Zeit in Köln, Deutschland.

ArtTalks are for people, who like to speak english, delight in exciting visual ideas and are interested in art and culture.

The format is interactive, so you can increase and expand your verbal skills, active vocabulary and aesthetic competency while interacting with others. ArtTalks is a series of informal, topical workshops that combine art and language in an innovative and playful way.

ArtTalkers enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and we have lots of fun together. We often go out afterwards for a post-ArtTalk drink and to continue talking!

ArtTalks take place as a rule on the Köln Tag (Cologne citizens get in free to the museums) on the first Thursday of the month.

The hostess, Karla Schlaepfer-Karst, holds a B.A. in art history and a M.A. in education. She is a native of California, transplanted to Cologne.
